Welcome to Away with Heidi! I’m a homebody at heart, a book lover, cat mom, twin sister, and passionate world traveler. After years of sharing my adventures with friends and family, I created this space to share the places I’ve been, the experiences I’ve loved, and everything I’ve learned along the way.

From Solo Traveler to Sharing the Journey

Travel has always been something I love, but traveling solo opened up a whole new way of seeing the world. Along the way, I discovered that group tours could offer the best of both worlds—the freedom to experience new places while sharing the journey with others.

I started sharing my daily adventures on Instagram, bringing friends and family along through the places I visited and the experiences I collected along the way. What began simply as a way to share my travels eventually inspired something bigger: Away with Heidi, a place where I could share my stories, experiences, and everything I’ve learned with fellow travelers.
