4 States in 4 Days

We left Pennsylvania to take my nephew on his first tour of the Auburn University Campus and decided to make a road trip out of it spending the night in four different states over four nights. He is now spending his freshman year on campus!

Pennsylvania to Charlotte, NC The Roadtrip Begins!

We left Pennsylvania to take my nephew to his tour of the Auburn University Campus and decided to make a road trip out of it. To break up the trip, our first stop was in Charlotte, North Carolina. We stayed at the Hyatt Centric in the Southpark area. The Hyatt Centric is a boutique style hotel and we loved it.

From CharlottE, NC to Auburn “ Buc-ee’s, Beautiful Weather, and Lemonade Dreams

Auburn, Alabama was the reason for our roadtrip and we loved every minute of it. I love Auburn and cannot say how glad I am that my nephew chose this as his University to study aerospace engineering. We stayed at the Graduate Hotel and it was easy access to campus and walking distance from everything Auburn has to offer. It even has a rooftop bar and restaurant, the War Eagle Supper Club.

Exploring Auburn and Onward to Atlanta – Books, BBQ, and Barefoot Moments

I was really excited for my nephew to see Atlanta since many years ago, I attended college here. I had always wanted to stay in the Westin Peachtree Plaza since it’s an iconic ATL hotel. While the stay was disappointing and did not leave an Atlanta impact on my nephew, we did get to visit Centennial Olympic Park, one of my favorite sites. It has changed a lot since I lived here. We arrived later in the evening so we missed touring the World of Coke which is a must visit in Atlanta!

Dollywood Dreams & A Final Buc-ee’s Stop – A Perfect Ending

To complete the roadtrip we decided to venture into Tennessee and visit a new to all of us destination. We stayed at Dolly’s newest resort Heartsong and loved it. We also went to Dollywood. Our stay was amazing and I could just stay at the resort a few days and not leave, but we did take the trolley to Dollywood and we loved it. It was also a great time to visit and we beat all the crowds. I highly recommend staying at a Dolly resort if you are visiting Dollywood. Make sure to grab a peach iced tea and some cinnamon bread.
