DUNDEE TO EDINBURGH
Scotland ~ Dundee to Edinburgh
Morning in Dundee
RRS Discovery: A Journey to the South Pole
Our first stop was a tour of the RRS Discovery, the historic ship that carried Captain Scott and Ernest Shackleton to Antarctica in the early 1900s. Docked in Dundee where it was originally built, this legendary vessel has been preserved and turned into a museum.

Victoria & Albert Museum
Just steps away from the ship sits the V&A Dundee, Scotland’s first design museum. The striking modern building, inspired by cliffs along the Scottish coastline, is a stunning contrast to the city’s historic waterfront.
Inside, I explored exhibitions focused on fashion, design, architecture, and innovation, and then enjoyed a lunch at the museum café and spent some time outdoors on their observation deck. I truly loved an installation they had called Skylight by Drift.

FOUR BRIDGES
We stopped at the Four Bridges Trail to stretch our legs and take in the views.

Off to Edinburgh
After lunch, we made our way to the final destination of the Scotland portion of my adventure:Â Edinburgh.

The Spirit of Scotland Show
We ended the evening with the Spirit of Scotland Show. The show features traditional music, dance, storytelling, kilts, and bagpipes.
