Day 4 – Waterton to Banff

Woke up for an early walk in Waterton and saw another deer by the hotel before departing to Banff.

Banff has always been one of my favorite places on Earth, and today I was thrilled to return. On the way, we made a stop at Bar U Ranch and saw a rare blonde black bear with two cubs. We also passed a bighorn sheep (and a baby!) on the road as we passed the stunning Storm Mountain, Highwood Pass, and Rock Glacier.

Stopping for a quick rest break in Canmore, we glimpsed the Three Sisters peaks before arriving in Banff for a late lunch of pizza and beer. The afternoon included visits to Bow Falls and Surprise Corner (showcasing the beautiful Fairmont Banff Springs).

That night, we explored downtown before ending with incredible cocktails at Park Distillery. I discovered Park Distillery last time I was visiting Banff and they have the most amazing and beautiful cocktails.
