4 STATES IN 4 DAYS – Day 1

Day 1: Pennsylvania to Charlotte, NC – The Roadtrip Begins!

My sister, nephew, and I set off from Pennsylvania just after noon, determined to have a great roadtrip to Auburn University for my nephew’s college tour—with a few memorable stops along the way.

After a quick lunch stop at Chick-fil-A, we powered through over 7 hours of driving to reach our overnight stop in Charlotte, NC. We stayed at the Hyatt Centric Southpark, and wow—what a gem! This hotel was beautiful, with a rooftop restaurant offering stunning views of the city. We didn’t dine there, though—we walked to Gourmand for dinner, which was the perfect way to stretch our legs after the long drive.

After dinner, it was early to bed to rest up for another travel day. Auburn, here we come!
